PGA Agrees with DGA

The Producers Guild of America fell in line with the Directors Guild and chose No Country for Old Men as the best of 2007. The Coen Bros are on a roll and are fast becoming the favorite for nabbing the Best Picture Oscar. Members of the PGA selected No Country for Old Men as the winner of their Darryl F Zanuck Producer of the Year Award in Theatrical Motion Pictures over nominees The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Juno, Michael Clayton, and There Will Be Blood.

Ratatouille, the odds-on favorite to capture the Best Animated Feature Film Academy Award, earned its producer Brad Lewis the top honor in the PGA's animated movie category. Michael Moore and Meghan O'Hara took the Producer of the Year Award in Documentary Theatrical Motion Pictures for their work on Sicko which sheds light on America's dysfunctional health care system.
