The Return of 'Bourne'
Jack Nicholson said he loves movies. I think we knew that, Jack. That proclamation was followed by clips from the 79 films that have won in the Best Picture category. Quick, name all 79 without cheating...
Next up, Academy Award-winner Renee Zellweger (sporting super short and sassy hair) to tick off the Film Editing nominees. There's definitely a concerted effort to move the Oscars along this year. It's basically been just one presenter so we don't have to listen to the forced back-and-forths between presenters. Back to the winner... Christopher Rouse (The Bourne Ultimatum, that makes three for Bourne) won and said he's happy to now be in the same category as his father, writer/director Russell Rouse, who won in 1960 for Pillow Talk's screenplay. He delivered a very articulate and concise thank you speech thanking his family and his co-workers.
