Behind the Scenes Blog

As any movie geek worth his salt knows, the nominees for the 81st Annual Academy Awards will be announced this Thursday. And while there are some truths that we hold to be self-evident, like Kate Winslet will be nominated (Kate Winslet is always nominated!), there’s always bound to be a few upsets and nominees that seemed to have come out of nowhere. Case in point from last year: Tilda Swinton being nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Michael Clayton. And then she actually won! I lost major points in my office Oscar pool for not even considering that a possibility…

So what surprise nominations are you hoping for this year? Josh Brolin for Best Supporting Actor as the murderous junk food junkie Dan White in Milk? WALL-E for both Best Picture and Best Animated Feature? Some acting nods for Slumdog Millionaire? Tilda Swinton getting another supporting nomination for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button? Place your bets now to have bragging rights once the official noms are announced.

Whats up Friends…

Ive spent a lot of time searching for a Black Berry type internet search engine.

Google & the regular web based search engines simply fail to work.

I’m looking for something similar to FRomPo.com – and works great cellular phone search engine – but I thought I’d ask anyway.

Anybody??
